FruıtıcanaCream-Less Ice Crème

An Exciting New Way to Eat Fruit

Fruiticana brings a fruit-based frozen experience directly to schools — giving students something they can enjoy while giving schools a hands-on program designed around their students.

Originally introduced as Fruiticana Creamless Ice Cream — smooth like ice cream, built from real fruit.

Why we care

Fruit Should Be Something Students Look Forward To

Fruiticana exists for kids — for health, for fruit, and for enjoyment. We want to introduce positive food experiences while children are young, so fruit can become something students actually look forward to.

What if fruit could become something students actually look forward to?

That question is why Fruiticana was created: to give students an exciting new way to eat fruit. This is our vision, not a scientific promise.

What's Fruiticana?

A fruit-based frozen treat for students

Fruiticana takes the cold, smooth experience students already enjoy and builds it around fruit — not dairy ice cream with fruit mixed in.

Why start young

Give Students an Enjoyable Experience With Fruit Today

Many people continue enjoying foods they first became familiar with as children. Fruiticana wants to create a positive relationship with fruit early.

Give students an enjoyable experience with fruit today, with the hope that their appreciation for fruit continues tomorrow.

Why bring Fruiticana into schools?

Children spend a significant part of their day at school. Instead of waiting for families to discover Fruiticana somewhere else, the vision is to introduce the experience directly within schools — a place where students can discover another way to enjoy fruit. Schools are not merely a distribution channel. They are where students already are.

How it works

How Fruiticana Works at Your School

Fruiticana provides the machines, stays involved, and gives students an exciting new way to eat fruit. The participating school shares in the program’s sales.

Figures and steps below describe Fruiticana’s proposed standard school setup. They are not a claim that Fruiticana is on school menus today.

Fruiticana provides and maintains the equipment and stays involved in operating the program.

Connecticut school programs

We've Been in Connecticut Schools Before

Research and development began around 2003. Company documentation reports that about 30,000 consumers sampled the idea. Fruiticana then participated in the Connecticut Team Nutrition Healthy Snack pilot and was later supplied to participating local Connecticut schools.

This is historical participation. It is not a current state, USDA, or school-district endorsement.

Today the original idea is being brought back so students can have an exciting new way to eat fruit — through a proposed school partnership built around equipment Fruiticana provides and stays involved with.
